We are sorry to inform you that we have experienced a partial outage today between 11:00 and 11:25 GMT.

The outage was caused by a hardware failure in one of our 4 message queuing servers, this caused a backlog of data which caused a block preventing calls from progressing and users from registering.

Our architecture should be resilient against this type of failure with both internally and DNS failover. However the application responsible did not appear to respect either the rules that we have put in place, we are beginning an investigation as to why this happened to make sure it does not happen again.
